Doula Support Facilitator

Vanessa Guite

Vanessa began her professional journey as an attorney, drawn to advocacy and support. But life offered profound turning points. Through personal trials, healing, and the quiet strength found in navigating immense transitions, she survived cancer, moved through deep personal loss, and reshaped her heart’s calling. Vanessa found purpose in becoming a birth and postpartum doula, where she can hold space for others as they step into one of life’s most powerful thresholds. Her work now centers on bringing tenderness, joy, and grounded care to families—offering not only support, but a sense of peace, presence, and renewal.

Training through the Life Cycle Doula program in Buffalo, she continued to define this mission and began to build community with the families she serves through the Buffalo Doula Collective and the doulas she works with there. She now shares her wisdom and knowledge by offering support to other doulas. Rooted in the belief that doulas also deserve love, commiseration, and safe places to share, she facilitates the Buffalo Collective’s free doula support group.
